Kahului Shelling, Dec. 15, 1941

At about 5:40 PM HST on Dec. 15, 1941, IJN (Imperial Japanese Navy) submarine I-75 began to fire her 120mm deck gun at the ship docked in the harbor which was most likely Inter-Island Steamship Company's S.S. Waialeale anchored at Pier 2. All of the shots missed as shown in the Target Area Map and chart.
